The alginate powder is mixed with water into a paste.

The alginate paste is applied over the model's skin.

Before it sets, cotton wool is embedded in the alginate.
So far 5 minutes have elapsed.

Plaster bandages are applied over the alginate.

The pose is very comfortable.
(how relaxing to open our legs wide after spending the entire day crossing them close and keeping them shut at all time...)

Once the plaster has set, about 10 minutes later,
the mold can be removed and the model can have a shower.

A batch of plaster is mixed and painted inside the alginate mold.

Once the plaster has set, about 3 hours later, the casting is de molded...

....and cut to shape.

Done!!!
